Y62 Patrol Supercharger Upgrade & Maxx Performance Custom Dyno Tune

This Y62 Patrol returned to Maxx Performance for the next stage of its build after us previously fitting a full Pacemaker exhaust system, AFE intake and custom tune where it produced a healthy 288rwkw

This time round the owner wanted to take things further with the ultimate all round street performance package.

We fitted:
- Harrop 2300 Y62 Supercharger Kit
- Harrop Pulley Upgrade
- Harrop Direct Injection HP fuel pump
- Maxx Performance ECUTek Multi Map Tune
- Maxx Performance ECUTEK Transmission Tune

Also upgrading the stopping power with:
- DBA Performance Slotted T3 Rotors
- Performance Brake Pads
- Braided brake Lines

With the hardware installed we bolted the Patrol onto our Mainline Hub Dyno and developed a custom engine and transmission calibration to suit the new supercharged combination.

The result:
Tune 1 - 396rwkw
Tune 2 - 356rwkw
Tune 3 - 310rwkw

The peak power figure is impressive but it’s the massive increase in torque and power delivery throughout the entire rev range that completely transforms the way the Patrol drives. Whether you’re overtaking, towing or simply cruising around town the extra performance is immediately noticeable.

The ECUTek Multi Map package continues to provide solid results and also gives the owner multiple selectable maps including immobilizer along with our refined transmission calibration for smoother operation, improved shift quality, and better converter lock up strategy.

Another Y62 leaving Maxx Performance with a serious smile factor and a whole lot more performance.
