Our Somewhere Else #2 event transformed a secret island destination last night! 🏝️

From a 22 year old local singer-songwriter wowing the crowd with a song written in 15 minutes, to a fire performance that lit up the night, and getting the dance floor moving, with one enthusiastic guest joining them with a full-on drum solo on the bain marie, the energy was unreal!

Add in air guitar battles, anonymous secrets read out loud, and a sold out crowd, and you’ve got a night the island won’t forget.

💥 Big thanks to Heath from for sound, staging and meandering around the logistical nightmare to help make the magic happen!

Funny thing about word of mouth, it doesn’t need a marketing budget.

Since our first edition of “Somewhere Else”, the number one thing we’ve heard is: “Why didn’t we know about it?! We would’ve come!”

And honestly? That’s the best “problem” to have.
Because now, over 50% of our second show’s sold out in 24 hours with an even bigger capacity. No big ad spend. No aggressive promo push. Just people telling people. Texts flying. Group chats lighting up. “You HAVE to come to this.”

This one’s at a secret island destination ft. Salt and Steel 🌴✨

And the wild part? We don’t even need to blast it to their followers. No algorithms. No budgets. Just vibes and word of mouth.

That’s impact! ⭐️⚡️🏝️

Songs are created by stories.

“I drink to get drunk…smoke to get stoned.”

That line came from Bruce at the Wallaby Hotel in Mudgereeba. When Dan Hannaford heard it, he said, “Sounds like a song.”

And that’s exactly what he did. Turned Bruce’s words into this incredible track.

Watch Dan perform it at our “Inside the Songhouse” session at Tamworth Country Music Festival.

(An old iPhone can capture the moment, but it doesn’t capture the magic.) 🖤
