The Margaret River Region maritime influenced climate and gravelly loams provide similar growing conditions to the famous French vineyards of Bordeaux. Our vines thrive here, consistently yielding excellent quality grapes with which to produce elegant, fine wines.

๐ฅ Have you tried our 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon yet? We timed the release perfectly for pairing with mid-winter roasts by the fire.
This stunning wine has already received a host of medals from the international wine competitions, including a GOLD medal in the International Wine and Spirit Competition. ๐ฅ
Made from a single old-vine block of Houghton clone fruit with no varietal blending, ours is a pure expression of a Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon; the regionโs flagship varietal.
Owner, Barry Stimpson, will be serving this plush and expressive wine with a succulent Margaret River roast rib of beef, duck fat roast potatoes and traditional yorkshire pudding, in a nod to Wendyโs English roots!
๐ทLet us know what you are enjoying with your Passel Estate Cabernet Sauvignon this winter in the comments!

Passel Estate owners, Wendy and Barry sat down recently with our winemaker, Bruce Dukes, and viticulturist, Tim Quinlan, to taste barrel samples of the 2025 Lot 71 Reserve red wines and the 2026 chardonnay wines, which are currently undergoing รฉlevage.
The hearts of the press of our 2026 chardonnay fruit displayed exquisite differentiation between our Chardonnay clones.
Bruce adored the precise clarity and delicacy of the Dijon 95 clone, while Barry particularly enjoyed the broader, creamier flavours of the Gin Gin clone!
It was equally difficult to select a favourite Lot 71 Reserve red wines - but Wendy swooned for the 2025 Lot 71 Reserve Syrah, already a deliciously complex wine, and extraordinarily perfumed.
