The volunteer emails have gone out for this Saturday's event. We are in for a chilly start, but the good news is that there is currently no rain forecast – definitely a bonus after some of our recent wet mornings!

A big congratulations in advance to one of our regular runners who is set to achieve an incredible 400 parkruns this weekend. What a fantastic milestone! 🎉

Looking ahead, we have plenty of volunteer opportunities available over the next few weeks. If you've ever thought about giving volunteering a go, now is the perfect time. All roles are straightforward, full support is provided, and it's a great way to give back to our parkrun community.

The forecast is looking a little questionable, so it could be another wet one. If you're planning on running, now might be a good time to dry those shoes out and pack a spare pair of socks!

I'm sure everyone's shoes are quite muddy after this morning, but we still had lots of fun, splashing our way through event number #631.

Well done to the 146 of you who chose to start the weekend with parkrun.

Congrats to everyone who achieved a new PB, or celebrated a milestone! 🤩

A huge thanks again to all our fantastic volunteers; we literally couldn't hold parkrun without all your efforts.

I'm handing over the RD hat to Conway next week, and we're looking for another barcode scanner, as well as a photographer. Let us know if you can help us out.
