About a month ago I was lucky enough to see the Aurora Australis from my backyard. I had been waiting for months for the right time to go Aurora spotting but the stars never aligned until this night. It was viewable for only a few minutes. I felt blessed. In these dark times, we must take the snippets of beauty and light and allow them to feed our hope and strength. Take care of yourself and remember that you are not alone. Good will prevail xx

In December 2023, my friend ‘s Aunty and cousin were shot in front of the Holy Family Latin Church where they were seeking refuge in northern Gaza Palestine. Since then, a group of us have been trying to get her extended family out to Australia.

These beautiful people are one of 6 families that need evacuation from Gaza urgently and are waiting to get visas and pay the massive transfer fees they need us to help with.
