I recently restored four old split cane fly rods for a customer in NSW. They will be going on display in his home so I did a sympathetic restoration
using processes similar to those used 100 years ago. Turned out quite nicely.

2025 was a big year for SBCR… We continued to grow as a business, a brand and as a creator of purposeful and distinctive fishing rods. In 2026 we’ll continue to repair, modify and restore your favorite fishing rods. But our stronger focus will be on building the best and most unique custom fishings rods. Using high quality components and our experience to not only meet - But exceed our customers expectations.
