On 25 June, we were delighted to welcome the Hunter Melanoma Foundation and their wonderful support group to ATUNE.

This special gathering brought together people from all over the Hunter who are currently undergoing treatment for melanoma, as well as those who have completed their treatment journey, providing an opportunity to connect, learn, and support one another.

Our IV Therapy Nurse, Briggy Day, and Oncology Naturopath, Holly Thompson, presented on how IV therapies and evidence-informed natural therapies can complement conventional cancer treatment by supporting health, wellbeing, and quality of life throughout the treatment journey.

At ATUNE, we are passionate about partnering with organisations like the Hunter Melanoma Foundation that empower individuals to invest in their health and wellbeing. It was a privilege to host this inspiring group, and we look forward to continuing to support our community through education, connection, and compassionate care.

This NAIDOC Week is an incredibly special milestone, marking 50 years of celebrating the history, culture, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

As a team dedicated to holistic health and community well-being, we want to pause this week to look back with deep respect at five decades of First Nations resistance, pride, and leadership. We also want to look forward, continuing to learn from the oldest continuous living cultures on Earth.

At ATUNE, we proudly acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we live, work, and heal, the Awabakal and Worimi peoples. We pay our deep respects to Elders past and present.

Happy NAIDOC Week, everyone! 🌿✨
