Dental radiographs are an extremely important part of your furry friends dental. They help give us an insight of your pets dental health and a clear indicator of what’s going on below the gumline. On visual inspection a tooth may appear healthy but disease could be lurking and wouldn’t be visually possible without the help of radiation.

In this radiograph the cat has a small tip fracture of the canine tooth and a tooth root abscess, which is the dark area around the root of the tooth. We extracted this tooth and within 10 days she was back to her normal self and pain free! 🦷🐾

Today, on world pet memorial day, we pause to remember the companions who left paw prints on our hearts. 🐾💙
