There is only one week until we kick off the EPIC Bookfair and the amazing team at Tony Innaimo Transport has been taking excellent care of our precious cargo.

This amazing transport company not only moves our pallets between the Warehouse, Bookfair and Book Lovers Lane, but they also store close to 200 pallets for each Bookfair.

Tony and the team keep the books perfectly safe and in perfect order, ready to be brought out to Exhibition Park in Canberra this week and off to their new homes next weekend. We simply could not do it without them 💙🚚

We have a great opportunity for a skilled qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our expanding team here in Canberra.

Responsibilities
• Scheduled Maintenance & Servicing of the fleet
• Breakdowns & trouble shooting
• Completion of Service Reports
• Rectify defects to the equipment/vehicles
• Ability to work independently and prioritise workload
• Be able to work autonomously and manage service schedules
• Ensure the workshop is maintained in a clean and safe state

Essential
• To be successful in this role you will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar position
• Sound communication skills
• Ability to pass pre-employment medicals and drug/alcohol screens
• Contactable and current referees
• Heavy Diesel Mechanic Qualification
• A high level of understanding for safe work practices relevant to the industry
• Reliable and a can do attitude
• Professional and focused at all times
• Exceptional Work Ethic

Desirable
• Current HR drivers licence
• Computer Literate
• LF Forklift ticket would be advantageous
