🏆 St Patrick’s College Rowers Strike Gold at North Queensland Championship Regatta 🚣‍♀️

Townsville’s St Patrick's College Townsville has made a big splash on the regional rowing scene, collecting an impressive 27 medals at the North Queensland Championship Regatta – including 10 gold, 9 silver and 8 bronze.

Remarkably, the all-girls school is still considered relatively new to the sport, but has quickly proven itself as a force on the water.

The team now sets its sights on Head of the River, regarded as the grand final of school rowing competitions, where they’ll look to carry their winning momentum forward.

After morning training, Head Coach Harrison Parks, Year 11 student Matilda Schroder and Year 9 student Charlie Skinner stopped by ABC Northern Grandstand with Jess Naunton this week to share about their preparations and recent success.
