The Australian Federal Police headquarters in Canberra has been evacuated after a battery fire.
Emergency services were called to the Edmund Barton Building in Barton just after 3:30am this morning.
The Emergency Services Agency says the blaze was sparked by a lead-acid battery which was part of the building's unattached power system.
A perimeter has been set up but no structural damage has been reported.
