HELLO CIVIC! 💛

It’s been 2.5 weeks since Civic Proframe officially passed into my hands and I’m loving every minute of it.

A huge thank you to everyone who’s popped in to say hello, share stories, and check out the refreshed space. Your support means everything as I settle into this new chapter.

Still on my to-do list: a good window cleaner! If you know someone who specialises in a streak-free finish, send them my way!

So long, and thanks for all the fish!!

Having no luck finding a torch bearer to carry on the Proframe legacy, we've made the tough call to pull the plug and wrap up business at the end of financial year! It's sad to see the doors shut on what's been a much loved Canberra institution for decades, but its time for the current team to move on, (some of us out to pasture!)

Still time to get some awesome framing done though, we're taking custom orders till the end of May, through June we'll mostly be installing into ready mades and perhaps making up a few simple custom jobs with what materials we have left on hand. Film lab will be running till mid June.

Its Mucha ado about framing of late, with the Alphonse Mucha exhibition up at the NSW Gallery until September we've seen a lot of Much prints come of the table lately and have even been inspired to dress up a few to put into our own little gallery corner ! Its a quiet winter for us, so turn around times for custom framing are the quickest they've been for a long time and we've also been running a little "Framers Choice" stocktake sale of sorts whereby if you have a piece you really want to get on the wall and trust our judgment we'll use on our on hand materials to frame your piece at a 30% discount on the normal custom framing price. (Also we continue to process colour 35mm film in house twice a week)
