I don’t know about your family, but mine is more comfortable in old jeans with their hair messed up! That’s just who they are and I want to capture them being real.

This is a photo I took of my daughter and my dear old dad on a miserable gray day after they’d been stomping about in the mud. It makes me smile more than the ones I used to make them dress up for!

So don’t wait for the perfect day, the matching outfits, the special occasion...they don’t matter as much as the people.
