Florey Shops

Over the next few weeks stage one of parking improvements at Florey Shops will commence.
Please note the time limit changes and also note that these limits are changing from current Mon-Fri limits to Mon-Sun limits.
Stage two of the work which includes new crossings, new lighting and more seating will be delivered later in the year.

This morning we had our new slide installed at Florey Shops and it’s now operational.
How good does it look!

After 25 years at Florey Shops it’s a farewell to Domino's Pizza Belconnen
Don’t worry, they’ve only move around the corner to Cohen Street in Belconnen. On the hill opposite the post office and behind the Ford dealer.

To connect to the sewerage system parts of the footpath needs to be removed, and 4 car parking spots will be blocked off in this time.
A reminder that’s there’s over 80 parking spots that wraps behind the doctors surgery and Dominos.

Construction work for the new public toilet is close to starting.
Build time is approximately 3 months and a footpath leading to the Florey Shops will be closed for this duration.

The concept design for the Florey Oval Refresh is now available. The project aims to refresh a portion of the Florey dry land oval into a natural play space for students and wider community use.

The project’s concept design was shaped by feedback from the community and students, as well as consultation with the Florey Primary School and representatives of the Ngunnawal community.
