YOUR FACILITATORS - Claudio and Kate
In our former lives in corporate IT and development consulting we danced weekends and nights – everything from samba to afro-fusion, flamenco, salsa and zouk. We both encountered Biodanza overseas – Claudio in Brazil and Kate in South Africa and we met each other in Biodanza. Between the world of coaching, communications and facilitation in organisations and th
e more 'right-brain' world of art, creativity and movement. And we feel moved to work from a place that brings these worlds together more and puts life at the centre. From CLAUDIO - Movement and dancing, specially Biodanza, has been an integral part of my development as a person. It was the supporting system behind every main big decision I took in my life since the early 90s. Classes, workshops and congresses put me in contact with extraordinary courageous people who remind me of what is to be human and joyful in life. When I see a person move, I see the whole beauty and complexity of the human spirit in action – not just in words or titles. From KATE - I have been working as a dance and human movement teacher for 20 years and as a trainer of movement teachers for 6 years. I’ve worked with movement and dance with groups from executive teams in boardrooms in the Philippines to teenagers in social projects in South Africa. I believe in the power of dance to unlock our human potential for joy, creativity and expression and I have seen this in hundreds of people over the years that I have worked with dance. I practice Biodanza and biocentric methods because they invite me to keep unfolding into deeper connections within and with others and life.
