Thank you Jo Clay MLA for your fundraising efforts for HelpingACT. The amount raised will be a great help to us as we raise funds to replace our truck that transports our food trailer around the community.

Jo launched her campaign in a short speech to the Legislative Assembly requesting that MLAs donate to the cause. She also sent out a request to her friends to consider donating.

A highlight of the campaign was a presentation of her personal donation of $5,000, followed by a photo session outside the Assembly building.

In total received over $8,000 from the campaign, which will make a huge difference in replacing Trudie.

A vehicle like Trudie is essential for pulling our food trailer which is out every week in one or the other part of Canberra offering free community dinners.

HelpingACT has no words to thank Jo for her support. With her novel idea we are now closer to have a Trudie.
