How often do you do things that communicate love to yourself??

Our actions are always communicating our feelings and values - and that includes the things you do and say about yourself. We often worry so much about how we treat others, without being consciously aware of the things we say and do to ourselves.

Lots of people talk about self love, but I never really understood what that meant until I started to think of it as strengthening the relationship I had with myself. It then clicked that I wasn’t showing myself much love or affection at all - I wasn’t being very present with myself, I wasn’t able to attentively listen to my deepest desires and fears, or doing the things that bring joy and pleasure to my day. So this is me, sitting down to a beautiful cup of cacao on a lazy Sunday afternoon in my gorgeous new ritual mug handcrafted by - a gift to myself just because. And one for my man, because I love him too 💕

The girls made these panel skirts at last weeks class. In this garment they learned a few techniques such as putting in a zipper, pattern making the front panel and bias waist band......

I found this beautiful 1950's vintage fabric in my cupboard yesterday....It is so lovely to work with....100% quality cotton.......i am in the process of making a beautiful frock.....I'll post pix of the finished item....
