Far North Queensland Wild Life Rescue would like to sincerely thank Metro Mining for their incredibly generous grant of $3,466.47 towards essential fauna products to help feed and care for our rescued native wildlife.
Metro Mining has supported us many times over the years — from donations for incubators to assisting with flying injured and orphaned animals to Cairns so they can receive specialised care from our wildlife carers. Their kindness and commitment to wildlife conservation truly makes a difference.
Our volunteers face enormous emotional and financial pressures every single day while rescuing sick, injured, orphaned, and displaced native animals. Many spend their own limited income to ensure these beautiful creatures do not suffer. The approved fauna products will provide desperately needed relief and support to the carers who work tirelessly, often without sleep, recognition, or adequate resources.
On behalf of our volunteers, carers, and the wildlife we protect, thank you, Metro Mining, for standing beside us and helping make this vital work possible. Your compassion and generosity are deeply appreciated.
