It is good to be back - Chelsea's FB was hacked 1,587 days ago and well yes, patience really does yield results - much like a carefully planned financial or lifestyle goal😜
Thank you to the living, breathing human at Meta Support who assisted with the account retrieval after many cat and mouse attempts, with said hacker, over the past 4 years!
A lot has happened since then - but we are still very much around:

If you are struggling to determine the best way forward for your financial situation here are some general considerations on financially surviving COVID19:
1) Instead of deferring mortgage repayments consider making interest only repayments. This may help your cash flow without impacting on your loan balance while you navigate through these uncertain times.
2) Consider applying for COVID19 financial stimulus support (jobseeker, jobkeeper, temporary early access to super). These are temporary measures to assist eligible Australians during these unprecedented times. Remember this too will pass.
3) If you are unable to pay some of your bills then get in touch with your service provider as soon as you can. They will talk you through a range of options that may be suitable for you.
4) Be sensible when allocating your available cash resources. In theory, your discretionary spending should reduce due to social-distancing and self-isolation rules thus allowing funds to be allocated to meet your non-negotiable, fixed living costs for the time being.
5) Try and prioritize your needs. Surviving the short term uncertainty will allow you to come out the other side once our health and economic systems move to recovery.
6) Finally, take a deep breath . Be kind, be sensible and stay safe.

There is a lot of information out there and this is changing and being digested at a rapid rate which in turn is creating and aggravating global markets.
In responding to the COVID-19 outbreak please make your first priority the safety and wellbeing of your family and broader community.
Please adhere to the advice coming from our governments and the World Health Organization so we all do our bit to contain the spread by making responsible choices at an individual level.
This will help protect those most at risk and go a long way in ensuring our essential service providers can continue to help preserve life.
In the meantime we need to brace for a bumpy economic ride, maintain our medium term focus and contribute to getting this health pandemic under control and from there our global economy can move into recovery phase. This too will pass.
