RIP Dr. Martin Chibueze, Principal Investor in AfroAnimation
It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dr. Martin Chibueze—beloved friend, trusted advisor, and one of the earliest and most passionate investors in AfroAnimation.
Dr. Chibueze was more than just a financial supporter; he was a visionary who believed in the power of storytelling, supporting creators and representation. As one of AfroAnimation's founding investors, his encouragement and commitment helped bring our mission to life. His belief in diverse voices and creative excellence will continue to shape our work and legacy for years to come.
To me personally, Martin was a close friend—a source of wisdom, laughter, and unwavering support. He would be the first to promote AfroAnimation to his network and come up with innovative ideas. His presence lifted every room he entered, and his impact extended far beyond our community.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to the Chibueze family and all who knew and loved him. His spirit will forever be a part of AfroAnimation’s journey.
May he rest in power and peace.
