This year, 8 Aboriginal medical students will graduate from the University of New South Wales, being the largest cohort of Aboriginal graduates so far.
The Wire's Haydyn Evans spoke with Dr Marleen Patterson, one of the graduates, about her journey on studying medicine, and why community and family matter to achieve her goal.
