🤩 MEET THE CAST🎙️ Introducing one of our newest adult recruits to the cast of this year’s BFISC Ice Spectacular: Enchanted Earth…Victoria Mattison 👏

Victoria started her ice skating journey only 8 months ago, and has made great process with her skating skills in this short time. She is currently working to master her single Lutz jump - a challenging jump where the skater takes off backward from the outside edge of one foot, uses the toe pick of the other foot to launch into the air, rotates, and lands backward on the outside edge of the opposite foot 💪

Victoria tells us that her favourite skating elements are the “traveling toe step" (a rhythmic footwork pattern) and the Russian Split Jump. Can she do them though? Not yet... she’s saving those skills for the next show 😜

While Victoria has never performed in an ice show before, she is certainly no stranger to the spotlight! As an ex-circus performer with NICA, Flipside circus and Warehouse circus, Victoria has experience with Trapeze (flying, static and triple trap), the German wheel, & ‘manipulation’ in the form of juggling and contortion! 🤯

Her talent doesn’t stop there, either! In her spare time, Victoria works as a muralist with large scale flower art around Brisbane 🌺
