Some days being a UGC creator looks like this..

Getting ready to film, feeling excited about the concepts, putting together shots, seeing the vision come together and remembering why I started in the first place. Those days make this job feel so exciting and so rewarding.

But other days look completely different.

Other days it’s multiple briefs, pressure to create, overthinking every clip, filming for hours, wondering if you’re good enough to be doing the job, feeling mentally exhausted and needing to step away halfway through because your body and mind are telling you they need a break.

This isn’t a complaint because I’m so grateful to do what I do. ❤️‍🔥
It’s just a reminder that behind every finished video is a real person trying to balance creativity, work, life and showing up even on the harder days.

So here’s your reminder that if you’re feeling overwhelmed, burnt out or like you need to pause for a second, you’re allowed to. 💌

Being a content creator means two camera rolls.

One full of polished, aesthetic photos for the brand. And one full of absolute jump scares for the UGC besties. 😂💅🏼🤏🏽

Some of the inbounds I’ve received this month 👀 but how many of them did I actually say yes to, and what did I decline?

This is exactly why I think pitching is SO important, even when you’re already getting inbound enquiries. Around 80% of my collaborations this month came from either returning clients or pitches I sent months ago that brands have only just replied to now 🤭

Also can we talk about how common ghosting is in this industry?! I get emotionally attached to a collab just to never hear back again 💀
