A two‑time Brownlow Medallist, dual premiership player, eight‑time All Australian, five‑time AFLPA MVP, and one of the most electrifying midfielders/forwards in AFL history, Gary’s impact on the game is unmatched.

This year, his incredible career was formally recognised with his induction into the AFL Hall of Fame, cementing his legacy as one of the true icons of Australian football.

To have a player of Gary’s calibre join our club — even for a short stint — is something truly special for our community, our juniors, and everyone who loves the maroon and white.
