Where time permits we prefer to perform the trans installation to eliminate basic common overlooked problems, particularly with the electronic units that we tune to suit - even the 6l80/90 transmissions that we ship away with a recalibration, the customers are advised to bring the car back once running so we can complete the tune, as there are so many different engine torque profiles/tables depending on mods - that make it impossible to have the trans dialed in nicely independant of the car. 6l80/90 owners will know theres nothing worse than going for a drive and having your trans behave like its over in the corner just doing its own thing making its story up as you go😅

Some SFI gear built up and gone recently, along with some 4L80e units that vary in configuration, including a REID super 80 to suit some serious 4x4 use. All of our 4L80e transmissions have mods to solve and prevent known 4l80e problems.
