May Tree Yoga

We all experience change in our lives. Initially, it can feel daunting and a bit scary, but if we don't welcome change, life can also feel a bit mundane and predictable. To help with these big feelings, I feel reassured when I realise that we are always able to tap into inner peace. Or, in my case, a seaside inner peace. This week I finished up with my job of 20 years. The beach, swimming and yoga were my best friends. I am now looking forward to new and exciting possibilities. And if not, I have this to keep me happy.

Happy New Year! I have kicked off the new year with some beach yoga followed by a swim at Aspendale Beach. What a way to start the day. The location may not be as impressive as the island of KorΔula Croatia shown in the photo, but it will be just as athletic, energising, and immune boosting. Best of all, it's free and accessible. Reach out if you are interested in joining me.

This pose is also excellent for mental heath and reducing stress and anxiety.
It is especially easy for beginners.
