Dr Varua is passionate about rural mental health and despite a 16-month-old toddler (who loves to create chaos), has found working rurally to be foundational for a balanced medical career with time to enjoy yoga, live music, cooking, psychologically layered films, and camping on her conservation block bordering Warrabah National Park.
