Adelaide’s racing community rallies for cystic fibrosis at Morphettville this May Join Emmah Money, South Australia’s Local Hero, for a glamorous day at the races on 31 May 2025 at Morphettville Racecourse, to raise $65,000 for Cystic Fibrosis SA while launching a charity racehorse.

In this heartfelt and empowering talk, I shared my journey of living with cystic fibrosis while raising a family, running a business, and chasing a life full of purpose. With honesty, humour, and hope, I spoke about how perspective has the power to transform even our hardest moments into opportunities for growth.

✨ Throwback with a purpose ✨

At just 17, I released my first book — a deeply personal story of survival, family, and finding my place in the world while living with cystic fibrosis. It shared not only the challenges of growing up with a life-limiting illness but also the wild, unexpected twist that changed my life forever — being reunited with my biological family after being told I had died at birth.

It was raw, real, and written from the heart of a teenager who had already lived a lifetime.

Today, I’m so excited to share that I’m in the process of writing Part Two — a continuation of the story, 20 years on, with all the triumphs, heartbreaks, motherhood moments, and everything in between. I can’t wait to bring it to you in the near future.
