First action of the New Year...wrote a poem based on my animation script. Second action, finished the latest image. Cripes what an epic that has been! Far too long for sure.....
If you can make it, here's the poem...

A rubber squeeze opens the eye lidded world
Reveal all the travels of a then hidden mind
Long lost requited and unbidden still
Scattered desires left untried behind

Pillion love rides a linear spanse
Years of passion still bridled on down
Slipping, sliding, sucking and blowing
Alive and suspended by dreams left unfound

Bubbled tubes emptying their bell suit descent
A necessary suspension of liquified time
An ovaline cage incubates best intention
Whilst conversely trapping the end of the line.

Searching for sounds that instigate recognition
Contemplating more than simply a loss
Something akin to shedded up shackles
Boarded up bridges that never got crossed

Amidst deeper recesses that the last steps reveal
Inhibitions, deflections, distractions contained
Lies the kernel of change we can always conceal
An avenue to stroll together untamed.

So off with the pretenses fostered over a life
Stripped to a nakedness of mutual unknown
Delved and deliciously recycled to surface
The corridor existant but since now not shown

The uplift and downdraft of coming and going
Trumpeted openings and fanfaric parts
Fall away like the parting of lips, legs and crevices
The space we fall into then pass in the dark

Sprinkled and scattered in lives now remembered
Soon to be forgotten, loves flesh bound embrace
The fleeting fragility that allows understanding
Blown windy and free to some far other place

Finally emerging from the depths of festival sludge management and clean up patrol. Slowly coming back to remember who I was before and where I was going again.....
