The Lockleys Riding Club was initially formed by our current patron Mrs Betty Eastgate in the 1970's to lease land from the Lockleys Oval Trust to use for horse riding. In 1984 as part of the Linear Park development the members of the club who were agisting horses on the river decided to incorporate the club to manage the lease of Breakout Creek for horse agistment.
