Kate Ceberano enters the ARIA Hall of Fame ❤️🎤👏
With her dynamic voice and commanding presence, Kate Ceberano has become one of the defining voices of Australian music.
After leaving school at 14 to pursue music full-time, Ceberano first broke through fronting art-pop outfit I'm Talking, whose 1984 debut album Bear Witness spawned five consecutive top 20 singles.
Her 1989 solo debut, Brave, similarly achieved triple platinum sales status.
This year, Ceberano will be inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame as part of the annual awards ceremony’s 40th anniversary celebrations.
Five artists are being inducted alongside Kate Ceberano; Gurrumul, Spiderbait, Jenny Morris, Vika and Linda, and The Living End.

: The grandparent of missing four-year-old Gus Lamont has been fined $10,500 for possession of a gun silencer at the family's Oak Park Station, in South Australia's far north.
Josie Rachelle Murray, 75, was charged in February just a short time after police declared her grandson's disappearance a major crime.
Police previously said the fi****ms offence is not related to Gus's disappearance.
The 75-year-old has also been banned from holding or obtaining a fi****ms licence for five years.
SA Police confirmed last month that one of Gus's grandparents remains a suspect in his disappearance.
Both grandparents previously released a statement saying the family had cooperated with the investigation and wanted nothing more than to reunite Gus with his parents.
