Owned by the Government of South Australia - Department for Education, the Education Development Centre is a training facility that hires rooms of varying sizes to businesses and organisations for meetings, workshops and training sessions.

Facility Hire Update
EDC is now accepting bookings until the end of 2024.
Please note: EDC is closed for January 2024 only, due to the completion of our AV upgrade.
EDC is now open for room bookings as from March 1, 2022.
The current restrictions are:
- 3/4 density (for indoor, seated defined public activities, not hospitality activities)
- Masks for shared indoor public place
- Covid-Safe Check-in
- No communal consumption facilities

The Centre is currently operating as a Covid Testing Clinic for SA Pathology.

Room capacities remain the same (equivalent to 75%)
Booking times:
Monday to Friday - 7.30am – 10.00pm
Please note: any time after 5.30pm requires at least 3 weeks prior notice
Weekends (on application)
EDC encourages those attending the Centre to be mindful of, and respect everyone’s ability to physical distance. It is essential that our Centre remains COVID safe. If you are unwell, please do not attend.
On arrival, presenters and participants are required to check in by scanning the QR code using their smart phone through the mySA GOV app.
Masks must be worn in public areas within the Centre.
