Pane e Latte

'Pane e Latte' (bread and milk) is traditionally referred to as the 'basic breakfast' by many older Italians and was usually the previous day's dry bread dunked in milk. The owner of Pane e Latte, Adelaide cook Matteo Giordano considered this dish the perfect example of how the simplest food can be associated with strong memories. His own 'Pane e Latte' are the foods he ate growing up, many of which were found in his mother's kitchen and the traditional Italian cuisine.
