TREK ACROSS OZ: CYCLING FOR MENTAL HEALTH DAY ZERO!

December last year Jamie and Jason, along with Aaron and their amazing team took up the challenge to cycle from Goolwa, South Australia all the way to the City of Mount Gambier over four days. The massive 500km bike adventure had the aim to shine a light on mental health awareness as well as showcase some of the beautiful locations along the way. 🚴 🚲 🚵

Thanks to the amazing supporters and sponsors, the cycle raised over $3000 for Talk Out Loud Australia, a fantastic local mental health charity based in Adelaide that do some amazing work in the community.

In this episode the boys tell you all about what this cycle will involve, a little about the charity and the riders taking part as well as the beautiful beachside town they are starting this great adventure from. 🏖️

CHANGES & GENERAL INFO ADDITIONS😁❤️

We are aware of issues with payment systems at the event and have taken steps to better assist both patrons and stallholders after a reassessment of infrastructure.

We have attempted to fix this problem in the short term through the introduction of more ATM machines, however the cost would be significant to the event and not sustainable. We intend to looked at what can be done after this year, which includes make a submission to get the infrastructure issues rectified at a local government and state government level.

⭐️ NEW ATM LOCATION
We have added another ATM area down in the middle section of the event near De-Caf - Mobile Barista & Catering which means we now have two ATM locations.

⭐️ CASH IS RECOMMENDED
We highly recommend considering bringing cash to the event for 2024, plus 100% of the amount goes to the individual stalls rather than there being transaction fees added. 😁

⭐️ YES WE ARE DOG FRIENDLY
Make sure your pooch is well behaved and is on a leash at all times.

⭐️ DISABLED & GENERAL PARKING
We have disabled parking located at the entry to the pharmacy carpark only 50 metres past the main entry. Please use the oval in the first instance for all other parking.

The event runs from 9am till 4pm and we look forward to seeing you here in Meadows.🌷
