Vào Thứ Hai, ngày 27 tháng 7, lúc 1 giờ 30 phút chiều sẽ diễn ra đợt thử nghiệm toàn quốc hệ thống cảnh báo khẩn cấp AUSAlert trên khắp nước Úc.

Trong thời gian thử nghiệm, bạn có thể nhận được tin nhắn hoặc chuông báo động trên điện thoại di động của mình. Đây chỉ là đợt thử nghiệm, vì vậy bạn không cần thực hiện bất kỳ hành động nào.
Xin vui lòng chia sẻ thông tin này đến gia đình, bạn bè và đặc biệt là những người lớn tuổi để mọi người yên tâm khi nhận được thông báo.

📱 AUSAlert National Test – Monday 27 July 2026

On Monday 27 July, a national test of the AUSAlert emergency warning system will be conducted across Australia.

During the test, you may receive a test message on your mobile phone. There is no need to take any action this is only a test to ensure the emergency alert system is working correctly.

Please help spread the word, especially to family members, friends, and older Australians who may be concerned when they receive the alert.

Last week, we welcomed guest speakers from STTARS to our Senior Social Support Group.
Our seniors had the opportunity to learn about who STARRS are, the programs and services they provide, and the support available to our community. It was an informative session that sparked interest and questions, followed by a delicious lunch and time to connect with one another.
Thank you to the STTARS team for taking the time to visit and share this valuable information.

Last week, our seniors enjoyed a wonderful day out in Mawson Lakes, watching the short film Cosmic Collisions and sharing a delicious Korean lunch.
It was a great day of learning, laughter, and social connection. Thank you to our staff and volunteers for making the outing so enjoyable! 😊

Our seniors enjoyed a fun and engaging morning of gentle exercises, games, and plenty of laughter. We then came together to share a delicious lunch, providing another wonderful opportunity to connect, build friendships, and support wellbeing.
A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated staff and volunteers whose hard work, care, and commitment helped make the day so enjoyable for everyone.
We look forward to welcoming you all again at our next gathering!

Another lovely day with our Viwa seniors 💙
We celebrated our May birthdays, enjoyed some light Tai Chi exercises, fun activities and games, followed by a delicious lunch together. Always wonderful seeing everyone smiling, connecting, and enjoying each other’s company. 🌸

A wonderful session assisting seniors with learning how to use technology on iPads. We cover the basics, such as how to scroll up and down, use the search function, key words, and navigate with the back button. We also enjoy some light games, share lunch together, and spend time connecting with the group, while also gifting presents to all the female seniors in the group to celebrate the Mother’s Day. 💐
