A question we get asked just about everyday is why are our clothes so expensive.
It’s not a simple answer to most as the majority these days unfortunately have no understanding of what a well made garment is or worth.
After a customer yesterday thought when I said a pair of Iron Heart jeans were ‘415’, assumed I meant $4.15 . They grabbed 4 pairs and put them on the counter to purchase.....
Obviously fast fashion is to blame but sadly, fast fashion is the only thing a large majority are aware of.
Whilst spending $300.00 AUD+ on a pair of jeans or boots etc isn’t for everyone, here’s an article that breaks it down more simply as ‘CPW’ (Cost Per Wear).
