What I love about the Australian wine industry is that I’m constantly coming across small wineries that are producing some top-notch wines. A great example of this is on South Australia’s Fleurieu Peninsula.

I was sent four wines to review - including one of the only examples of Sauvignon Gris in Aus - & each had wonderful character, coming from a solid base of great fruit. The 2021 ‘Pie in the Sky’ Shiraz, in particular, was a highlight.
