When did you first start dancing? Since I was 5, I did ballet, jazz and Mexican folkloric dance. I didn't discover Middle Eastern dance until I was 25.

When you’re not dancing, what’s your happy place? Wherever my daughter and my husband are.

What’s something you’re really passionate about besides dance? Family, friends and art.

Who or what always makes you laugh, no matter what? My friends.

What’s a talent you have that no one in the dance world knows about? My closest friends are dance friends, I think they know all my talents 😆 Nothing spectacular by the way.

If you could dance with anyone from history or fiction, who would it be? Michael Jackson
