Build the skills that employers value and get job-ready with our Get Ready for Service training program, delivered face to face in Whyalla, SA.

This program supports you to build essential workplace and customer service skills, improve employability and foundation skills, and gain confidence to enter or re-enter the workforce.

You will also learn how to write or update your CV and practise answering interview questions, so you feel prepared to apply for jobs.

On behalf of SkillUp SA and the team, we would like to wish you all a relaxing festive season, time with loved ones, and a positive start to the New Year.

Enjoy the break and take time to recharge.

We are proud to see the success of our Adult Community Education (ACE) Skills Program in Port Augusta recognised in the local newspaper.

Our graduates recently completed the Certificate II in Resources and Infrastructure Work Preparation (RII20120) after a 12-week program focused on building foundation skills, confidence, and clear pathways into employment. Throughout the program, participants strengthened their language, literacy, numeracy, and digital skills while developing job readiness and practical employability skills.

For many graduates, this journey involved overcoming significant personal and educational barriers. Seeing their growth, resilience, and achievements celebrated alongside family, friends, and the community was incredibly rewarding.

This program was delivered through a partnership between SkillUp SA and Career Employment Group, with support from the Government of South Australia. It highlights the value of community-based, place-focused training in building a skilled, confident, and job-ready regional workforce.

Congratulations to all our graduates. We look forward to continuing this important work across regional South Australia.
