“Just Another Choreographic Development"

Alchemy Collective is a group of emerging dance artists and after our short time out in the industry, we have begun to feel the pinch from the lack of access to opportunities to get good quality footage of yourself performing.

It feels near impossible to get updated footage of your choreographic ideas or of you moving in action and at an affordable cost. Footage is imperative to applying for grants and getting your works developed.

Supported by Dance Hub SA, the trio that is Alchemy Collective; Kate Burgess, Hanna Instrell-Walker and Caroline De Wan, have come together with the mission to try support the community by curating a new program titled "J.A.C.D."

This will give an artist the opportunity to have a short time in the studio to have their ideas or phrases captured on camera by Alchemy at zero cost.
