Does your baby cry when you put them in their cot to sleep and walk out the room, but you know they can self-settle? 😢⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Did you know this is often part of the child’s temperament and so many babies will do this? 🤯⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Crying when you leave the room does not have to be viewed negatively though, for some babies/toddlers this is just part of their process of winding themselves down before they go to sleep. 🥱⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

10-15 minutes of this is completely normal and often nothing to worry about, if you listen carefully you will find that they are not crying hysterically but rather moaning/grizzling or even doing burst of cry outs. 🧐⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

If your baby never used to do that but suddenly does, know this is completely normal too. Some may do it every other night depending on how tired they are, while others will always do it (Like my little one) 🙈⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
