🫶🏼💚 A labour of love 💚🫶🏼
A behind the scenes look at the preparation that happens in the lead up to Art Club. Nature Creative Art Studio doesn’t own a clay kiln (future goals!) so for now, we use air dry clay. For children it’s really all you need but sometimes a very special project requires extra special care.
Here, I am coating 24 little hands in a glue fixative to make them stronger for painting & decorating before our Mother’s Day art class.
Gently holding each little hand was a beautiful reflective process where I realised how quickly these hands will grow and therefore these are so much more than trinket bowls, incense holders or mantle piece decorations, these are moments captured in time! ⏳💚
To say I was in a good mood after class when none of them broke is an understatement 😅
I hope they lasted for Mother’s Day? (If not, please super glue 😉) 🙏

These pics taken on the Murray River, Brownhill Creek Reserve, Mt Lofty Gardens, Atelier Crafers, Lotus Sisters - Inspire Create Ascend, Carrick Hill & Adelaide Botanic Garden capture the moments that filled my cup the most. Immersed in nature, creating art, with people I love = a full cup & heart 💚🫶🏼
