The Nitro Thunder event is run and done from Sydney dragway, we qualified late Friday night in the no.7 position with a 7.05 at 194mph on a very slippery racetrack we made a few changes over night as we had to step the car up for our first round opponent Omar, but a redlight from Omar gave us the automatic win, our halftrack increments were very good telling us the car is on the money.
Moving on to the second round we faced Con Soldatos by this time we were faced with some difficult track conditions and both cars were very loose with Wade able to pedal enough for a 8.1 Win, with this win we had the bye into the final which saw us except the green and save the car, in the final we faced Fred Nicastri, both cars went up in smoke straight at the hit but Fred was able to get his Pontiac to the stripe first.
