The 2,111 sqm location offers over 21,000 products, 172 parking spaces, two EV charging stations, and an integrated café. Extended hours, 32 new local jobs, and Sunday openings planned from the start.

The launch came with genuine community investment: €10,000 donated locally, plus a weekly fresh produce program for students at Fran Krsto Frankopan Elementary School throughout the school year. The grand opening wrapped up with a free live concert on the Krk waterfront.

Carrefour Belgium has opened its largest buybye autonomous store yet — at Corda Campus in Hasselt, one of Europe's biggest innovation hubs, home to over 100 startups and thousands of daily visitors.
