Thank you to everyone who was part of this year. 🖤 Surely it was the most exciting year since we started the band...

The first half of the year was all about focus and patience — everything aimed at the album release.
In May, it all came together: our ANEMOIA release show .

Around the same time, we shot a music video in Innsbruck with our friends , and .

A big change followed during summer time: joined Alago as our fourth member. So happy to have you on board, Filippo! 🤝

The year also brought a series of great live shows, including our first mini tour with . Finally, we moved into a new rehearsal space in our Innsbruck hood — a new home, new energy.

And now: first new sonic sketches, new currents...

More is already forming on the horizon. But for now, thank you 2025! 🖤

Anemoia is the debut album by the instrumental post-rock trio Alago. It explores the beauty and severity of nature through the lens of atmospheric phenomena, tracing a cycle shaped by wind, clouds, and pressure.

The journey begins with Anabatic, a portrayal of rising winds, followed by Ae**us—named after the ruler of the winds in Greek mythology—where movement and direction begin to take form. Nimbus builds upward into turbulent cloud towers, hinting at the energy and release of an impending storm. After the surge, Nebula introduces a thick, layered density—fog-like and disorienting, yet strangely still. The album concludes with Catabatic, the counterpart to Anabatic: descending winds that signal return, withdrawal, and the slow settling of atmosphere.

The title Anemoia draws from the Anemoi, the mythological wind gods, but also refers to a form of nostalgia for a time not lived—a feeling of displacement within the cycles of nature and memory.

The music unfolds in shifting, textured arrangements—at times expansive, at others compressed—mirroring the volatile relationship between the earth and the air above it. It invites listeners to enter a space where perception and weather blur, and where sound carries both weight and motion.

We hit the stage on June 19th, joined by the incredible .

Anemoia follows a day shaped by wind and weather:
From the rising air of Anabatic, to the swirling breath of Ae**us, and the bright buildup of Cumulus.
Nimbus towers in with storm energy, before Nebula sets in—dense and disoriented.
The cycle ends with Catabatic, as the winds descend and settle.
