A few impressions of this year's DA Charity Ball "Une Nuit d'Art Deco" for the benefit of "Fremde werden Freunde" - many thanks to the Ball Committee and especially Katharina Hermann and Anna Jonas for the organization.

I am happy to announce that Rwanga Foundation was chosen as the 2014-2015 Diplomatic Academy of Vienna charity of choice. Rwanga works in the Kurdistan Region helping the most vulnerable communities through programs in 8 different sectors, with a specific focus on youth empowerment through education and creating a culture of volunteerism in the Kurdistan Region. The focus at the moment is helping the refugees in the Kurdistan Region. Over 1.5 million refugees and IDPs currently live in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, most of them children. Throughout this academic year, students of the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna will work toward raising funds for Rwanga, specifically through the annual DA Charity Ball to be held on 24 January 2015 and the DASI Conference to be held on 06 March 2015. So SAVE THE DATES!
