REAKTOR is seeking works and mindsets that strongly reference the present moment, making them candidates for timeless presence in the 7th edition of Potenziale. Here, reference to the present is not understood as conformity to prevailing interpretations but as an acute perception of being aware.

For this edition, the open call is specifically for projects designed for the garden, inviting works that engage with the space in a meaningful way. The open call is addressed mainly to artists from Central European countries, encouraging perspectives that reflect the region’s unique cultural and historical contexts. A key element to consider is the fence separating the garden from an adjacent construction site—projects should thoughtfully respond to or integrate this boundary into their conceptual approach.

A budget of up to €3,500 and technical support from the REAKTOR production team is granted. The application process is one-stage: a description of the concept (a maximum of 2,500 characters, including a budget description), sketches, and an enclosed portfolio of previous works are sufficient.

Criteria for the selection are
- Sensual and intellectual comprehensibility of the works of art
- Conceptual depth and material
- Preference will be given to projects that utilise the high spatial volume of the large hall
- Site specificity | the project was never exhibited before in the proposed form
- Novelty & originality of the concept
- Feasibility | budget, safety of the audience.

Submissions are accepted until the 30th of April 2025.

We’re growing our external team and are looking for reliable people to assist with the setup and dismantling of our upcoming events.

This role involves physical work, including heavy lifting — tasks such as building stages, carrying tables, chairs, and event equipment. Please only apply if you’re comfortable with this type of physical work.

Flexibility is key — shifts may include weekends, early mornings, or late evenings, depending on the event schedule.
