Artificial intelligence is becoming a strategic enabler in the oil industry.

On the sidelines of the Inaugural Technical Committee Meeting of the Charter of Cooperation (CoC) in Baku, Azerbaijan, the OPEC PR & Information Department welcomed delegates to the OPEC booth.

Key flagship publications, including the World Oil Outlook and the Annual Statistical Bulletin, were presented. Delegates engaged in great discussions on energy security, investments, and OPEC’s vital role in supporting oil market stability.

OPEC Secretary General HE Haitham Al Ghais today held a bilateral meeting with HE Ali Abdalrahman Mohamed, Undersecretary of Ministry of Energy and Petroleum, Sudan, on the sidelines of the Inaugural Technical Committee Meeting of the Charter of Cooperation taking place in Baku, Azerbaijan.

During the meeting, the two discussed current energy market developments and the importance of longstanding OPEC-Sudan relations in supporting global oil market stability.

Undersecretary Mohamed commended OPEC’s efforts in paving the way for future cooperation under the Charter of Cooperation (CoC). In turn, HE Al Ghais thanked Sudan for its valuable role in the Declaration of Cooperation (DoC) and CoC since their inception.
