You might be tempted to use pre-recorded videos and sessions to reduce errors & make sure everything runs smoothly or it’s what your partners / sponsors want. Yet the beauty of live video comes from the in real time interaction & conversations between you and your participants. It’s okay to record the sessions to repurpose in your other social media channels for promotion.

Also, keep in mind your attendees move and plan their time around your event to come and watch you LIVE, to be with you in real time. Nothing worse that making the time to attend an event & watch some pre-recorded videos. People would feel stupid, fooled & taken advantage of, since this could’ve been done at a time convenient for them.

Virtual events, the fact that they’re live & that they allow you to meet and connect with people worldwide is what makes them so powerful.
