Zack Zack Zack

Formed by Yiğit Bakkalbaşi und Cemgil Demirtaş in 2019 as an art project for a performance at the art school in Vienna, Zack Zack Zack's sound is inspired by classic synthesizers as well as traditional oriental musical instruments reminiscent of their Turkish roots.

Their first music video for the song “Bütün” back in 2021 attracted international attention followed by the debut album “Album 1” in the same year. Their second album “Album 2” was released on May 26, 2023 via Trost Records. In 2024, Zack Zack Zack presented a remix album “Album 2,5” featuring nine influential international acts from the dark-wave and post-punk scene. For fans of darkwave, postpunk, gothic electronic and the not-so-obvious melting of sounds, cultures and stories into a vigorous mix beyond bounds.
